2016 EDPMA Solutions Summit Receptions

One of the many unique aspects of the Solutions Summit is the opportunity for high-level networking. The Summit brings together executive–level decision makers from each category of EDPMA membership -- physician groups, billing and coding companies, and a variety of others who work in the ED industry. So, negotiations take place and real deals are struck at the Solutions Summit!

On Saturday, April 30, 2016, there will be a Pre-Conference Reception open to all Summit attendees from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm. Attendees will have the opportunity to catch up with friends and meet new ones before the Summit goes into full swing.

Sunday kicks off the EDPMA Solutions Summit with an Opening Reception in the Exhibit Hall from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm. See the latest products and services EDPMA’s exhibitors have to offer and connect with friends.

On Monday night, from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm, there will be another great Networking Reception in the Exhibit Hall in case you havent had a chance to chat with all of the exhibitors. Don’t forget, all networking breakfasts and refreshment breaks are also in the Exhibit Hall.

Finally, the 2016 EDPMA Solutions Summit Closing Reception will take place from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday evening.

Join us at the Solutions Summit and Take advantage of all four amazing networking opportunities!

EDPMA Committee Day (Open to all Attendees)

SUNDAY, MAY 1, 2015, 9AM - 4:15PM

Once again, EDPMA is opening up its committee workshops to all Summit registrants, both members and nonmembers. Sunday’s workshops are a great way to learn what EDPMA is working on and why you should join the association. Attendees will hear from committee members and outside speakers on important issues facing the business of emergency medicine.

The Federal Health Policy Committee will discuss federal issues such as preparing for the new Medicare reimbursement formula, developing an alternative payment model for emergency medicine, and the greatest-of-three policy (which sets a floor for out-of-network reimbursement for emergency care).

The State Regulatory & Insurance Committee will discuss state-level activity regarding Medicaid, Managed Care, limits on balance billing, and more.

The Quality, Coding & Documentation Committee will address issues like ICD-10 implementation, quality reporting, and more.

The Provider Enrollment Committee will discuss best practices when working with Medicare Administrative Contractors (MACs) and other issues surrounding provider enrollment and revalidation.

Many attendees find these informal workshops to be a great way to learn from experts and peers on the issues of the day, to get to know leaders in the industry, and more. The workshops are an integral part of the Summit.  Don’t miss out!
